The Lilly Conferences on College and University Teaching and Learning have provided opportunities for the presentation of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. This interdisciplinary teaching conference includes faculty, administrators, and graduate students from across the United States and abroad. Participants are given the opportunity to exchange ideas, build a repertoire of skills that can be put to immediate use, and to network with colleagues.

The NATIONAL NUMERACY NETWORK registration is now open for our 2014 annual meeting graciously hosted by Carleton College as part of the celebration of the QuIRK initiative's 10-year anniversary.The NNN Annual Meeting is schedule for Oct 10th-11th, 2014 in Northfield, MN.
The two day meeting will include plenaries by Jake Porway & Neil Lutsky, hands-on workshops focusing on methods and approaches to incorporating Quantitative Reasoning into courses and into the curriculum, and an unconference component that will facilitate topical discussions based on attendees’ preferences, needs, and interests at the meeting.
Coinciding with our annual meeting, there will also be an AALAC (Alliance to Advance Liberal Arts Colleges) funded workshop called “Enhancing Quantitative Reasoning Across the Curriculum”. The two day AALAC workshop will include 4 panel discussions open to NNN members.

The conference, like the Association, has as its primary focus the practice of the assessment as a strategy to improve student learning. Thus it is open to all who are engaged in learning assessment — the faculty, administrators, Student Affairs staff, institutional researchers, and others in higher education who collect, analyze, and use assessment data in order to advance student learning.
