Teaching & Learning Matters Spring 2009
The Faculty Scholarship and Creativity Showcase was held on March 11, 2009 to highlight the important scholarly and creative work of CSUMB faculty. The day long event was open to students and staff, and the community was also invited. Individual faculty abstracts and descriptions of their collaborative presentations are listed here in the Special Edition.

Faculty Scholarship Showcase

One of the TLA's goals is to provide forums for sharing the excellent teaching and research of our faculty. Our newsletter has been a medium for making that work public. We focus on developing our website and have discontinued printing of the newsletter, both to keep more current and to be more green.

Towards that goal, we invite you to provide us with an update on your teaching and research.  We'd like a paragraph or two, accompanied by any visuals you can provide (either a picture of you or something taken of your work), along with any links that readers might follow to learn more about what you're doing.  These will be posted on the TLA website. Help us make your work more visible! Please send your contributions to tla@csumb.edu.

Please check our Current Accomplishments page frequently, as we are constantly posting new scholarship of teaching and learning presentation summaries and faculty co-op reports.

Teaching & Learning Matters Fall 2008
As you'll notice, it's a bit thinner than in the recent past. We're hoping to use the print version to direct your interest and attention to this website, which is richer in content, easy to update, and conserves trees.

Teaching & Learning Matters Spring 2008
In this issue you will find news about your colleagues' recent scholarship and professional activities, an article by Peter Elbow about ways to support students writing in your classrooms, and other news and teaching and learning tips.
