TLA Reading Room

Outcomes-Based Assessment for Learner-Centered Education (Stylus Publishing, 2007) features the work of many CSUMB faculty and describes CSUMB's process of developing a unique OBE model. Authors Swarup Wood (Assoc. Professor of Chemistry, and Chair of ULR Operations Committee) and Amy Driscoll (former Director of TLA and current Associate Senior Scholar with the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching) reflect upon this process and offer vignettes from cross-campus faculty who have successfully adapted the OBE model.
Please drop by the TLA in Tide Hall to browse our collection of reading materials. These books and periodicals are available for check-out to CSUMB faculty, staff, and students. The list below is alphabetical by author.
